Question about VE SV6 2007

Do they run a timing belt or timing chain? Just a curiosity. Having a debate with my mate. :boxing:

Yeah i did a few searches, all i could find was discussions about them with no certain answer..

its timing chain there is 3. common problem on 07 downwards. mine cost me $1500 from a mech who is my friend.. otherwise usually cost $4000 from holden.. or there is a place in lynbrook melbourne can do it for $2000. big job. a day and bit to do it right.
