More updates, no progress on painting the inside though. I changed my mind again, painting the inside white, so I went and picked up a litre of the right white. Its been windy and raining, with a bit of luck the weather will clear up tomorrow so I can paint and get the car back together ASAP, I need to drive!!

Started working on my centre console/gauge cluster thingo
Water temp, oil pressure and oil temperature, and volts just for good measure. I have yet to trim the bottom, I'm undecided if I will run gauge cluster to the floor or to the bottom of the dash, so I've left it untrimmed for now.

Looking good!

Thanks mate! I plan to be driving the car again on Tuesday.

Today's efforts, 2 coats etch primer, 1 3/4 wet coat and 1 very wet coat of DE BEER 2k white (same colour as outside) Just need to spray the plastics, will do that tomorrow morning.

Finished spraying a few minutes ago, here are a few pictures so you get the idea. I'm painting under a gumtree so there will be some crap in the paint, nothing too bad though. Overall, I'm

One set for me, one set for my housemate.
They sent me 7kg front / 6kg rear, but I ordered 9kg front and 7kg rear, so there is a pair of 9kg springs on the way and I get to keep the old springs as spare, no harm done! Very very very impressed so far, I have the dampers on 14/16 quite stiff, I am looking forward to the stiffer springs.
I didn't adjust them much at all, maybe 4 or so turns from how they were sent, I'm pretty happy with the height at the moment, Though I do want a small slip on spacer for the front just to give me some extra clearance from the strut. Running 16x8 +35 and a 225/45R16 Advan AD07 tyre.

No doubt! Between me and my house mate we will have numerous sets of 5kg, 6kg, 7kg, 8kg and 9kg springs! Perfect for suspension tuning. Went for a drive tonight, very impressed with the suspension so far. These coilovers run a 55mm monotube damper, its very very thick.
