We have had about 8 people try and remove the headrest 2018 rs commodore anyone have a way that can help?

Hey, must admit I havent tried this, but looks to be exactly the same set up as the RS.

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Should be a pin hole in one of the head rest stem bases. Inside is a sprung latch that when pressed in, will release the head rest.

Paper clip does the job.

That’s how all other Commodores were. Then again, the ZB isn’t a Commodore. Fight me.

VR, VS and I believe VN to VP as well had no way to release the headrests except to strip the seat back cover and reach up from below.
Unless someone has worked it out
Anybody ?

Hey, must admit I havent tried this, but looks to be exactly the same set up as the RS.

This is correct. Most newer GM products use this style of headrest guide in the front seats. The Buick Regals are also this way.

Here is another video that gives a pretty good idea of what's going on:
I don't think the clips need to be removed but it helps to see what they look like. Pulling the loop on the clip away from the guide and applying upward pressure on the headrest should be enough.
