Ok going to put new sparkplugs in this week . Is there anything to look out for. Have read stories about plugs snapping off in the heads , guess it can happen with any car but is this a thing with the ve . It's done 132xxx sv6 series 2 so I won't have to remove the intake. Thanks.

Standard procedure try to keep your extension straight so you don't risk snapping a plug.

Gap them.
They can come out or the box incorrectly gapped.

Like Champion plugs, gaps all over the place and usually one in a set of 6 will be a dud.

I recall Fu doing a good thread on dodgy spark plugs. There's a lot of ‘knock offs’ out there.

And while I think of it, DO NOT use the cheap plugs.
Use the very best long life plugs.
They are meant to last and be changed at 100,000 kilometres as per your books.
Look it up.
