rpms increase and stick when changing gears

I have this same issue, I've had my VX for about 3 years now and it's always done it. I've replaced everything I could think of but it still does it. I changed the ECU in it but it didn't fix it. I love my car but it really does my head in that I can't fix it. I think it's something that we might just have to put up with.

So I have the same issue and the only way I have found to make it sound decent is to unplug the iac, it isn’t ideal as it doesn’t idle properly when cold or when air con is operating but other than that it sounds and drives like it should
