Both IQ and Mylink nav databases are well out of date, but neither have failed to get me where I need to go...
or I use my NAVMAN.
Like a said many times before if I knew about SD Updates I would have not got GPS in my car and kept my great TOMTOM

Seems like a good idea why would you pay Holden to keep updating every time a new gps maps comes out, also the way you navigate through the system is slow they should of used touch screens. I use igo as its always easy to update just download from the site and copy and paste to replace old files on the SD card.

Indeed, yet sometimes it does show me driving through sand dunes.

Yes, I'm often driving through a paddock on my way home(New estate built behind my estate).

Well.. our VE (And VF) navs use HERE maps, I "THINK" applications like iGo use HERE maps off the top of my head.

Id wonder if purchasing new Here maps and transferring across the database would work.... food for thought...

I believe grabbing the maps from a Wince device which uses igo primo or similar will have the Here maps. Completely untested, but all wince devices should be using the same maps/database layouts ect.
