I don't know about your brakes, but mine simply will not move back in more than a mil or two without the bleed screw out, and that is using a G-Clamp.
something is wrong there, do you have the cap off on the master cylinder? even with it in on you should still be able to do it. maybe your calipers are stuffed and you need new ones anyway :p


also by plate of steel I mean lay a plate of steel on the top of the cylinder then clamp the g clamp over that, that way the clamp applies even pressure.get it?
you can just use an old brake pad as well :)

Fix'd it.

I went to the wreckers and picked up a couple of calipers that seemed to be in much better nic than my old ones.

I see what you all mean about being able to compress them by hand now though...

new calipers also came with Bendix pads with 99% material on them... too bad I'd already bought the exact same pads... :(
