I haven't had the need to use search recently. Will have a play when I get more time.

But on the new features, what is the go with the "Popular Threads Right Now" ? Any one of them I have clicked on is a veeeery old thread.

Interested to find out from you all how is the search in comparison to the old system?

I have noticed with the new search function, the searched word is highlighted in the results and is a link to the post it is contained in. I don't recall this aspect in the old search function.

Is it new ? If so, a good feature. If not, still a good feature and I'm just a dill !

I also like how you can search via a particular member. Same comments as above.

New with the forum upgrade :) it could have been the new search addition too.

There are a few things which are unusual but other things really good, all takes time to adjust I certainly don't like the moderation queue but that's minor.

Just something thats nagging me.

Links in threads/posts

Same colour as normal text so is hard to distinguish between a link and normal text

Even if you add a colour to it, reverts back to plain looking text.
Example below.

If you hyperlink text same deal

Just updated link and hover colour to blue.

One more thing, since you are onto it and excellent on the linkage colour now.

Separation between posted text and signature.
From memory on old site, there was a line between those so you can distinguish between the posted text and signature below it or something similar.

Is that by all means possible?

Also, seems to be going well so far :)
