I've deferred for this year, been offered 3 full time jobs in the past few weeks, was only looking for part time but yeah decided to defer. Have my books on me already.
A few of the smaller things I can do myself such as the spacers but I'm not too sure about rockers, and I don't think I can do the cam at all.

Hah I was thinking totally put an LS1 or LS3 engine in there, I've seen somebody do it.

Why dont you try buy a motor thats already been built?

ever heard the term "built not bought"

i find it more rewarding to build your own motor/car/rocking horse as you will most likely learn something new!

this is my opinion though so probably irrelevant.. lol

Haha I like that "built not bought" I only suggested it because from what I gather he lacks mechanical experience and buying a motor pre built would work out cheaper I would think, sorry if Im completely wrong frogsta.

That makes sense! I'm just used to being around mechanics I think lol

With this site an a decent tool kit there isn't much you cant do lol

My automotive teacher rebuilt an automatic trans with no mechanical experience and a manual (like the book) of some kind
