well I heard a supercharged ve yesterday n sounded awesome. how much would a supercharge kit for a vz or maybe ve ss be worth. I like the vz better then ve. would a 300rwkw supercharged vz be less reliable then the ford. I wouldn't think so since bigger engine to start with but could be wrong?

Just my opinion I know all the xr6 and f6 people are gonna bag this but 400 rwkw out of a sc v8 is gonna go better than a 400rwkw 6 turbo

Not really any less reliable 300rwkw isn't much out of a supercharged vz it would be running no were near the boost the ford is

Here's a 6 rotor RX4, totally comparable to an SS an XR6.

blows about as much smoke as my Victa lawnmower
in fact it sounds like my Victa lawnmower too!

probably goes a bit faster than my Victa though

the BA falcon looks like turd imo and the FG looks even worse. I wouldn't even consider getting a late model commodore myself either for that matter.

I'm not "carist" by any means I just don't like the shape of most newer cars.

Tourqe curve the end figure means **** all for instance my vz ss has 249rwkws and my dad has a 383 sbc (not gen 3) it has 230rwkw but has a heaps fatter tourqe curve and it smashes mine

So in short the v8s have a fatter tourqe curve than sixes so the v8 will always go better and anybody that tells you that it's all end kw figure has no idea coz a car with high power and no tourqe will not go as good as one with lower power with heaps of tourqe no one drives around at 7000+ rpm

I agree with you, torque is more important. Pretty sure a 6 with 20+ psi in the mid has a fair bit of torque
