Yeah mate, the tow bar has been cut out.
Not sure how to go about fixing it.
Keeping the two tone, going Avus blue pearl over an Anthracite grey metallic.

Nice combo, the blue and the black. Are you keeping the paint line around the car, like on the front and rear bars on the VR in my painting thread, or what are your plans for them?
Do you plan on separating the blue and black (pinstripe etc) or just going to let them butt together?

forgive me if Im wrong (as i am colourblind) but in the photos the blue looks as if it is a Satin effect..
i like the scheme, i hope you keep the calais trimmings!

The paint is Avus Blue over Anthracite grey.
The blue has a low sheen on it, iCrap camera and bad light dont show the colour properly.
The grey is very dark because of the black guide coat, i do like it.
I have separated the two colours with 19mm chrome stripping.
All the wiring has been put back/run/connected, the carpet has been cut to fit and the sound deadening has been put down.
Just a little bit more work to do with the paint. A final sand and clear. The roof needs attention and so does the front bar.
Also; the body kit needs to be painted, my compressor broke down again before Christmas so I have to wait for parts -.-
