I've had a look under an r31 skyline, it looks similar to the to a vp Commodore. Guessing all McPherson strut setups are similar. How different is a vy setup to vs? By seems to have a lot more lock.

I got the idea from drift, but gosh i really want the extra lock and it makes the steering rack extra responsive

Get a Volvo 240 - they had much more steering angle than any Commodore.
Mind you, they only had 185 mm tyres to worry about in those days....
