STRIPES!!! Whats your thoughts.

First i have to say a massive thankyou to Mark Norman of M.A.N made signs! He did a awsome job and has made a dream come true for me. I have wanted a car with stripes since i was a little boy and now i have it. The car isnt completed by far (still need to colour codes the black bits) but i have been saying i was getting it done and now its time to deliver!

All comments welcome and for sure its not everyones cup of tea but im all for each to there own. Job took mark 3.5 hrs and i never thought it was such a in depth process. So heres the pics enjoy.

I think as long as you have the racing engine to go with the racing stripes its ok. looks good on the vt mate.

Don't mind the design, just not the colour. White doesn't suit the colour of your car.

It looks better than i was expecting, alot better, but yeah im with Airstrike, white wasnt the best choice, a dark colour or black would look good i recon.

Did u ask him how long it is expected to last, coz norm shop signs only last bout 6yrs b4 the y start peeling.

Expected to last about 6 yrs. WHat other colour do you guys think i should have done them?

Engine mods start next year as i dont want to pay 3k a year for insurance and i have some big ideas for the motor

When mark was doing them the guy in the work shop nexts door said it looked like a kids car had driven over the top of mine hahahaha

I drive to wrk and see so many commodores that have the same stuff done to them and so im thinking of ways to stand out in the crowd. If it dont stand out now then **** i give up hahahahahaha:yeah:

$400+ would be the normal price but i didnt pay that coz i know the guy. The material he used is a special vinyal that holds it shape. I was amazed at how much you could heat and strech it (30% its on size) before it would break and once it set it has a memory so to speak and stays where its put. I told him i wouldnt say so that he doesnt get everyone in askin for them and he ends up working for nothing. Marks a close friend so materials and beers. Cheers.
