for anyone actually interested in this, the build plans have changed.

no more turbo. but at least one m90. and probably two. going to be going with as large a piston as i can fit. ive seen others use WRX pistons with success. the toyota gearbox will probably get a set of decent gears, possibly PPG. diff will get at least a minispool. preferrably a full spool. front suspension will get a pretty big makeover in chase of much bigger steering angle.

ultimately, its all time and money. of which i have neither of right now.. back in June i started a mobile DJ business using my PA that ive built over the past 10years just collecting/building bits. check it here> Itkixx Sound Solutions

Did you finally realise that mounting a turbo next to your legs is retarded? Or has someone just slapped you round the head and beat some sense into you?

it was my tuner who suggested id be better off with supercharging. with the right setup he said i could make more boost quicker and safer than with the turbo. so when i get to it, ill be following his suggestion

ive still got the bit i cut out, so wont be hard to weld back in. just like i also have a big hole in my bonnet .... perhaps i like big holes?

i have drawn up a couple ideas for how to structure the roll cage to best fight the chassis twist it suffers from. and the missing section of trans tunnel will play a bit part in stiffening it up when i replace it.
