supercharging a 5L

hmmmm yeah im thinking that budget is a lill low after i checked out the capa website ........ i put a new exceedy h/d clutch in it when all the other work got done so the clutch should be ok ?? would i get a cam and sum head work and maybe a low 2 mid rise manifold with a throttle body on top setup 4 around 5g?? sorry 4 all the questions i will have to go ask around town 4 prices and see what i can come up with..... and make my mind up what i wanna do engine wise lol

If I were you and wanted to do it for less than 5g, look on ebay if you can wait as they pop up all the time and cheap. I've changed blower 3 times and I saved many thousands that way.

i spent about 5 to get it up and going the kit came from ebay, injectors ebay usa, map sencer ebay, but green foam helped me out heaps with the tune so it can be done

thats the type of set up. now just decide top or side mount blower. he stealthy do you want a m90 or 112???

wow that looks like a pretty good value 4 money kit.. is this the same charger that they r using on the 5L they r building in the street commodores mag? i like the look of that style of charger setup looks nice and neat and well presented.... but my main concern is that if i were to buy that kit 4 $5,400.00 buy it now price is there anythin else i would have to get done and spend money on to get it up and goin? i know it says it includes everythin u need... but i would hate to have a budget of $5,500.00 and then get the thing only to find out i need to spend another 2g to get it on and useable :bang:

i carnt see any thing else as long as you can swing off a spanner that should be it oh 50 bucks for inlet gaskets. my mate has that blower on a 355

Yeah i reckon ive spent a bit under 5 grand with a second hand blower but all other bits were new.

P.S re superchargers Eaton V8 hasn't told you but the ran 13.1 the other day, 12.9s can't be far away

i paid 3,200 for the charger kit but then got exhaust done n that was another 1500 then the tune was 1200,injectors 120,2bar map sensor 160 or something,fuel reg 150,fuel pump 130,cooler piping 600,trust me mate it all adds up.i spent around 7,600 all up and makes 252.4rwkw on a safe tune at 10psi.
