May sound stupid but maybe the weight of the steering colum steering wheel on the driver side may be doing that just a thought

I reckon you may be on the money there my VN used to sit a bit lower on drivers side have seen a few cars that sit lower on that side... having said that my R8 sits level but it is only 12mths old.

From what i have been told it is sag related, most cars (mine included) sit lower on the drivers side because there is always a driver in the car an not always a passanger.
