Switch Gear controller thing

I want to switch my normal shifter that can only go from gear 1-3 to the one that u can do all gears. Can someone please tell me if this is possible. I have a 2008 Chevy caprice Middle East version.

What is the 'transmission code' on the VIN data plate?

The tiptronic style shifters were only for the 5 and 6 speed auto's.

You have a 4 speed.

The shifters aren't interchangable.

I don't have a 4 speed I have a 6 Speed. It's the v8 2008 Caprice it has a 6-speed auto.

You have a 4 speed shifter, it's a 4 speed transmission lol.

The picture you posted was of a 4 speed shifter, you can't have a 4 speed shifter on a 6 speed trans lol.

Pretty sure the exported US/Saudi caprices only got 4 speeds if I remember correctly.

Changing the shifter doesn't magically unlock more gears

I understand it doenst unlock gears but my shifter only allows gears 1-3 manual. The transmission is a 6 speed. The V6 received a 5 Speed transmission.
