I couldnt care if its a Samsung or not. Im also looking at LG and HTC.

I dont even dislike Apple, Ive owned Ipods etc. Their followers make me want to punch babies. Especially when their product is sub standard.

This! Look at EVERYTHING and work out what's best for you. If what's best for you turns out to be the best available, you won't be buying an Apple (or even necessarily a Samsung!)

I had a good chuckle at the people in the office and on facebook this morning.

Raving on about the Iphone 6 Plus.

Ohhh 5.5 Inch screen. The Note 4, which was also announced is not only smaller in overall size than the Plus 6. It has a bigger screen. Higher resolution with a much high quality screen. More powerful phone. Better camera. Oh but no, the Iphone 6 Plus will be the greatest thing in the Phablet market. PFFT.

I have a new S5 so I'm stuck with it for another 7 months. But the new Note 4 has absolutely phenomenal specs. And the new VR helmet thing looks rather intriguing. Mmmmmm VR Porn.

Meh, at the end of the day so long as my phone makes calls, sends messages and I can browse basic internet and play a few games I don't really give a **** about all these fancy new features. The only reason I'll go Apple again is because I don't want lose all my saved games and such.

Nice try, but no. WiFi issues are real on iPad, look 'em up. It won't hold settings, so you have to enter the proxy etc every time you wish to connect. It's on about 10% of the devices we got (got about 50, five don't work anymore). They didn't develop this problem until after warranty ran out. Apple refuse to help and the technicians wont waste any more time on them.

Apart from that, they are useless for work anyway. No USB, SD, file management or file transfer makes them pretty useless for actual work. They are toys.

Guy at work has a new iphone. He can't connect to his cars stereo. I tried with my S3 and hooked up straight away. Damned if we can work out why the i5 (i think thats what it is) wont connect.

Just about every smart watch there is has failed to really take off. I think it's because they are very much a niche product - I don't even wear one. I think apple knows this too, hence why they aren't rushing to bring it to the market.

As for samsung, I've had a go of my brother's galaxy and it can't even scroll smoothly. I don't see why people call the galaxy devices iPhone killers when they seem like they've been slapped together hastily for the sole purpose of out doing apple on specs. They may have the upper hand on the hardware side of things but "normal" people don't care about that. What they want is something that works and performs well. From the samsung devices I've used, they just don't do that.

Oddly enough, owning a iPhone now is mainstream and it seems that owning a galaxy device and wowing people with specs on paper far more hipster than ever owning anything apple.

Samsung are the almost the worst android devices out there, they run like crap and Touchwiz destroys the experience even further.

Wearables are also stupid, can't believe it but Apple are the "me too" company now

meh ill stand by personal experience. had an iphone and i will admit, it does have pro's over the samsung.

- it did run alot smoother than samsung like scrolling through the phone. but crashed alot more than samsung
- trying to take a pic of something like a shirt. iphone was better, captured colours better and less blurry. but things from a distance samsung did better.


unless apple change their so called 'user friendly format' where its a fkn mission to add a ring tone on msg tone or pictures onto your phone, ill never go back.

Touchwiz is ****. It's the cause of grief for most who use Samsung devices. It's not smooth at all.

But it's NOT the device.

Get rid of Touchwiz and it's smoother than a baby's bum and (Galaxy S4 or S5) easily shits on the iPhone5. My personal choice for replacing Touchwiz is Apex.
