AIUI, coolant is easily recyclable so you'd think there shouldn't be a cash grab from the consumer
Why, I thought engine coolant was somewhat like cooking oil and thus a saleable commodity for businesses. Instead we get a cash grab from the consumer
Guess the reality is that it's probably like used tyres where one pays a disposal/recycle fee. Oddly in the case of tyres, they simply get stockpiled until an unfortunate fire solves the storage problem
Begs the question what's actually done with coolant
Really the recycle industry (smoke & mirrors) peeves me off no end
