The G clamp looks similar to what we use to do. Grind off a part of the rigid bit of the clamp so it would go into a perpendicular brick joint allowing you to be able to clamp a profile or straight edge to the corner of a brick wall.

G clamp looks like a valve removal tool....I've got something similar, with mine being the wind up style, rather than the push and wind up like shown....

The gap is for the valve top to pop through, whilst you reach under to grab the collets....

I made mine about 25 years ago, when I bought a fan dangled unit, only for it to break after the 2nd valve....I think I paid $10 for a g- clamp that works 1,000,000 times better

Anyone seen these before? I can't find it on the SCA site so assume they are NLA. Seller is asking $60. I would have thought that would be pretty close to retail? I thought it would be a handy rolling tool bag for a UPI trip.

Haven't seen them but wouldn't hurt to offer $30 or $40 for it.

Any thoughts on getting this? I can get this SH for $70 but I think my price is probably $70 new regardless. I'm just waiting for a call back with a price. Just not sure if I should bother but I like to buy tools when I see them. I probably have a spare $70 this fortnight to grab a kit.

Just got a price $69 new, hahahaha. Just offered $40 on the SH kit. Be interesting to see what he says.

Hope you mentioned the place where you can get it cheaper new than what he is asking....That might make them realise you do your homework and not a sucker....

Then again, they'll probably wait for that sucker that doesn't do their homework...Time will tell...

Best of luck and hope you do score it for your price

Apparently its sold PP? Bloke selling it probably bought it from Repco or TTI, or eBay, because on all those places they are around $93. I will just wait, knowing they are cheap new. I don't know if the kit will suit an LS? I just know where to get anything Toledo cheaper than the best price you can ever buy it from any other place. Goes to show there is a decent markup on eBay and most retailers, even when they have 25% off sales and claim this is a good price. Nuts and Bolts, a Tasmanian store is like 40% better than everywhere else I have found.
