Wondering why does we have a traction control switch, we've never turned ours off so I'm wondering why have it and when would one turn it off.

C'mon mate. You've got a V6. Surely it gains 200hp when it rains. :p

they should relabel it "hektik skids" and you'd understand it better.

there's a very good reason the default position is "on".

I had occasion to use the button today. Was in a carpark in Auckland city, raining heavily trying to get up wet concrete ramps that are very steep and have a nasty turn to boot. Going up every ramp it lost traction at the steepest part in the middle of the turn and didn't regain traction till cresting the top. With the stock traction control you would not have made it up the ramp as it just cuts power at any hint of wheel slip.

The first button I push after every start lol the amount of times I've gone to pull out of an intersection and had it just pull all power apply the brakes and just stutter while cars are coming at me lol I'm about to cut the wire so it never activates lol

Yep, I re-tuned mine, got rid of the cylinder cut and will allow some wheelspin before the ignition timing is pulled.
