Well, bolted the box to the block tonight, ran into a problem I'm going to have. I'll get around it one way or another, where would I get an inspection cover that is that inch longer to take up the extra that the adaptor makes? Short of cutting two up and tinkering to fit.

Would I just get one made up at a fab shop?

I would say you would have to make or have one made for that application, crs dont list one with the conversion kit.

I'm thinking I will have to make one, I've got what I think is a v8 and v6 covers, both plastic,so some cutting and joining I think

will the mod bloke let it pass? I cant think of a reason apart from it looks **** for some of the blokes I've come across that'll do it, but when they kick my work they are thinking of my safety.

It's a starting point to work from.
I'll have another go over the next couple of days to see how I can improve it. But I couldn't imagine it being approved. But afterall, it's only really ther to cover it up isn't it!

Made up a new cover out of cereal boxes, this one is a template, now just to transfer it to a sheet of steel and bend it up so my brother can weld it together next week.

If all goes to plan and looks good, I could make some up and sell them since no one makes them.
It's not even part of the crs conversion kit.

In one way or another, every one of those will need modifying, it'll have to be changed where the starter mounts, and where there is a starter opening, will need to be welded up anyway.
On top if that, it'll need to be stretched 19mm (3/4') to fit anyway, because the crs adaptor, effectively makes the bell housing that much longer.
