Yeh that was something I made sure of.

I was looking at a 2006 AH Holden Astra which had belt changed and water pump but rough body.
Gave em a offer and didnt get back to me in time so got the VE which apparently for sale for 6 months.

Mainly though, wanted a car for summer.

Also, no more 19inch cracked rims and tyres all the time and lowered hard ride. And No BLACK cars.
I actually want a break from mods. Never get back the money you put in either.

At least being a V6 you won't be inclined to want to mod it. The VE isn't too bad I drove my father in laws for 6 months and his was V6 but manual. Pretty comfortable cars good for families.

The v6 don't go that bad ( make a lot more sense really and Holden built their reputation on the 6).
When mods are in your blood =yeah !!!
If you can resist =great = save dollars .
I've found that if it's entertaining to drive from standard (for me) , then I enjoy it longer without thinking about moding or dreaming of something else .

It is comfy I must admit.

Coming from a V8 to this thing, I'm not missing out on much as like i mentioned, its friken perky and very responsive.

I did look at a VE Sportswagon.
Funny how in the ads and on phone they forget to tell you about the scrapes on the side, dent, trim misaligned inside, and other things

Also my Asus phone died so got a new S7 Edge which is now on Oreo
ANDDDDD I am not rooting it or installing a new operating system.
I have only disabled bloatware and have a Ad-Blocker VPN

I have to keep telling myself 'I choose not to mod, I choose not to mod'

I did some more cleaning on it, stains on seat etc today, clear coat pen on scratches and fixed headlight temporarily.
I can now say has my touches to it now.

VE sports wagon =nice , thought about them a few times.
There's a couple up the road , quessing one owner has a HQ prem ( really lite mouve/. .,. purple ) doesn't see the light of day very often . It did today..

Um does getting the second last genuine phone/GPS mount in Australia and removing mud flaps count at all?
And lookiing at SS 18inch wheels count?
And looking at bonnet protector and maybe a lip spoiler count?

If you want the 18's I've still got them from before I upgraded. If you do end up wanting to go that route, I'm happy to pass them on cheap.
