Naaah mate, not that keen. I only need a cpl of roll bar hoops bent for the altered and i'm done, won't need it again, so i'll get them bent up at Richmonds some time soon.

yeah i bought one once, tried it on a coupe of bits of 2.5 inch, squished it. filled it with sand, squished it, heated up one side, squished it... then thought "maybe it just big stuff", so i put the smallest clamps in, got a piece of fuel hose... squished it.

then i gave it to a mate.

After reading the "stupid things you've done while working on your car" post, i'm really not suprised.

Still more thinking and planning going on at the moment, and not a lot of hands on stuff. I have started work on the roll bars now though, this will be slow and painstaking, because they have to meet spec for helmet clearance, driver protection and placement, yet still nice and tight so I don't rattle around too much if I tip it over!!!
