Hey guys,
Having an issue on my 2007 sv6 (aisin ay6) manual, 330k km, it won't shift into reverse, 1,2,4,5,6 when idling and first disengaging the clutch, it knocks the whole driveline and no matter how much force it won't go into gear without shifting into 3rd before any other gear.

The static shift test is fine, runs through gears like a breeze, just changed all fluids (trans, engine, clutch, brake), (was doing it before as well hence changing and bleeding clutch). Once you get it in and out of 3rd it also shifts fine, so stumped to what it could be. Shifter bushings are very worn (replacing them in a month) and mounts are also very worn (have replacements ready to go in). Is this an issue that can be fixed by these, or should I replace the whole transmission at the same time?

Done all the diagnostic tests as per the factory manual and the three recommendations are clutch, shifter assembly or replace trans (would like to avoid), anyone have any experience with a problem like this? Could it be something else?

Bought the car a month a go with no problems, and this happened in the last couple weeks (wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't shifting into gears)

Any help would be appreciated.

Figured out it could be a dragging clutch. Any suggestions?
