The starfire rods are good as an upgrade on the 6 cyl motors I believe, 4 cylinder cars are great units to start with as the 4 cylinder engine won't stress the body like a V8 so it should be nice a straight with little fatigue etc.

I hope they all got crushed.

That's a bit rough, I believe they had a decent set of diff gears in the rear to make up for the lack of motivation in the front.

Put starfire on nos...2 of the big ones bro.

Yeah you'll probably need whole driveline out of another car from radiator to diff everything inbetween.

Starfire cars had torana stud pattern & funky looking engine bay iirc

You are correct.....I believe the starfire rods are the same as used in the XU1 engines...The diff gears I believe were 3.9...Don't hold me to that though
