he said they didnt know and were awaiting to here back from holden technical office but still procedded to tell me something along the lines of the rear mufflers have altered the back pressure and manifold might need to be replaced but wouldnt tell me what was wrong

No it won't, just make sure any work done on your car meets service log book standards or specs and is done by a qualified professional.
