As title says drivers side power window not working at all either up or down, all other 3 work perfectly.

Have tried a new switch , and plugged a 2nd hand window regulator from wreckers in and still no go.
Car is Series 1 Berlina with auto up and down on both front windows.

Any help appreciated.

tried a relay or fuse[/QUOTE

I've checked the 2 fuses in the passenger footwell , they are ok as if i pull them out no windows work.

Haven't seen any relays for the power windows.

I've heard the wires sometimes break in the door or it could be the power window module.

Looks like i'll have to take it to an auto sparky for diagnosis.

I checked all the fuses again but it made no difference so i decided to check the wiring to the door and found a broken wire.

Rigged up a dummy wire from that broken wire to where it goes on the window reg and window works both up and down.
