I don't have a tech2 but do have a generic one, no codes come up

Generic code readers don’t come close to doing what is required to solve this. The tech 2 will operate and test isolated components to identify faults. It carries out calibrations and can get data logs that are not available on regular devices.

So are the tech 2's on eBay the go ?

Look about right. $400-$600 can easily be the cost of one trip to a mechanic, so one of these can pay for itself quite quickly.

People don't generally understand how they work etc.
1. Click on the user name you want to DM.

3. Away you go.

I wish it simply said "Private Message" or "Direct Message". Far clearer for the end user.
