I'd there any way to change the angle of the back wheels as they scrub out down to no tread on the first two lines but the tread is ok on the rest of the tyre

Sounds like it has to much camber. Has the car been lowered?

Yes there is,
I was also scrubbing out the inside of the rear Tyres, especially the LHR, as that one wear's out first on ALL of my Commodores,
to fix it, I put Std Height Heavy Duty Pedder Springs in, and has solved that issue.

Sure can....They have both camber and toe adjusters from factory...

Find some where that is competant enough to align it....

That's your challenge

I tried to get mine done - they’re either too busy or just plain out too lazy or as already stated incompetent

A place that doesn’t sell tyres is a good start as they don’t have a vested interest in selling you tyres when yours wear out.

I used to have scrubbing issues on the outside of the rear wheels with the SV6 when I first bought it and it would rip through rear tyres in about 10,000kms. Bob Jane tried to tell me there’s nothing you can do about it to fix it/adjust it! No doubt they were happy selling me 2 new tyres every 10,000kms!

Wouldn't go that far......Funnily enough I used to align cars straight from Pedders at a tyre shop I worked at.

I just felt sorry for the poor ole customer...Pedders got charged $50 for a front and rear and the poor customer got reemed for $100, just for the pedders name...

Bob Jane + Alignments = Throw your money down the toilet.

Not that I know of we bought the car a couple a years ago have done 2 tyres after the first tyre was scrubbed out I took it to a tyre place in Muswellbrook asked them to look at it and fix it when I picked the car up they said they had a problem with there computer needless to say I scrubbed another tyre out always on the left rear I have since just bought some new shocks with higher coil springs 40mm higher than standard,? I still think the camber on the back wheels needs to be looked at
