Not that I am any drags expert, but I ran my VE Calais-V to a 12.789 sec 400 metres @ 182.60 Kph running in 20" wheels and street tyres on 25th April 2008. For mine the best result with the A6 was just leave it in drive and surprisingly "ESP on". If you do leave esp on, don't crank the stall revs over 1,000 (or esp will kill the engine timing and power). Mine has the rev limiter set at 7,200 and shifts in auto at between 6,800 and 7,000 depending on the gear its in at the time. I agree with what someone said earlier, the weight is the real killer with these cars... I just can't get anywhere near a respectable 60 foot time no matter what I do, hence the car has to make up for lost time by pulling reasonably good mid to ET speed. Its best ET speed to date was 114mph, but this wasn't my best overall time. Pete .
