Ve omega 06 Ticking noise/Engine light

Just after some advice , have a Ve commy omega 06 , ive had the Engine light come Up on the dash, got a ticking noise from the motor and sometimes when I try to start it , it will start and cut straight out or struggle to start other times it’s fine, everything else seems to be good. Any ideas on what it could be ? Or What to check. Cheers.

Find someone with a code scanner to work out which codes are causing the engine light to come on.

Head to Supercheap and they should be able to scan it.
Could event be low on oil,
as some of the VE's will run low on oil and give lifter noise and the Oil Light will not illuminate.

Or something as simple as a purge solenoid causing evap problems.

Code - P0717-00 come up when doing a code scan the only code that came up.

P0717 is speed sensor in the transmission
