VE plastic radiator cover - Why did they get rid of it ???

Does anyone know the reason why Holden stopped fitting plastic radiator cover thingo ??

Cost cutting?
Heat issue?
Service issue?

Anyone ????

I like how it hides a bit of mess in the bay, but I'm unsure if there is a reason for this panel to be off on my SV6 sidi

up to 2007 they were on all models after that they were extras around $25 at your holden dealer.

Honestly, don't know... might be an extra... I'd personally take out as much plastic from the engine bay as possible, the sv6's get hot enough.

I would say cost cutting. Holden are a bunch of tight arse pricks.
