Dont quote me, but pretty sure front half cabin is exactly the same in wagons and sedans... so I would think seats are interchangable.
In regards to air bag light, I don't think the seats are individually coded or anything like that... so how would the system know if different seats are fitted. Provided the new seats are functioning as they should, it wouldnt cause any issues.
But I dont know for sure, sorry.

back seats i think would be different, as the wagons can have backs folded down where as the backs in sedan are fixed? except for the man hole part

I have changed my front seats already. Provided there is no fault with your new seats there is no issues with swapping seats over up front.

No, definitely not, as the back seats on a wagon fold down. (And the Sedan back seats do not)...

This would mean the mounting bolt locations would be completely different...
I think you would also find that SWB and LWB rear seats arent a direct swap either.
(The side bolsters on the rear seats will be different)...

Hope this helps.

Don't leave the ignition switch on (to listen to the radio) while taking the car apart. It picks up a fault with the seat-belt pre-tensioners and throws an airbag fault.

I did it on my VT a few years ago the arvo before a trip to Sydney!!! Had to get a late-open dealer to clear the code.
