I'm use to it now but ' in my case' after removing the extra cop battery it has reduced significantly.

Anychance it stops if you turn off the headunit?

My 09 VE SS has whining/whistle that increases with revs. But stops when turning off the headunit.

Amp/sub has been installed in the ute (I still need to investigate what sort of wiring job has been done!) but apparently the LOC's (Line output converters) can cause a noticeable whining. Whole bunch of threads about the issue on JustComms.

Not sure if thats the case for you.. but it did my head in originally!

Im thinking the Muppet that did the install on my ute has run the power+ signals together. And bought the worlds cheapest set of LOC from china.

Nah it didn't mate tried everything. Other things you could try bad earth or amp wiring and speaker wire to close... Good luck
