VE stereo not producing sound.

I've got a 2008 VE SV6 ute and the radio has no sound, the head unit works fine, you can change the volume, scan for stations etc but there's no sound coming out of the speakers... Occasionally it will start playing music and I can't find any loose wires but most of the time there's not a sound... Has anyone had this problem or knows how to fix it? Fuses seem ok and all the rest but I can't figure it out.. Please help!

has someone faded your system to back speakers , you know playing funny buggers , as you no you don't have back speakers , or you can try a reset like remove all power to the unit including continues power , see how you go.
