VE stock head unit trouble

Hi all my stock head unit keeps blowing fuses.. When placing a new fuse in it lets out a decent size spark as it blows.. It's the 15A fuse in the boot near the battery.. I have taken the front faceplate of radio off still blows the fuse.. If I take the plug out of the side of the radio it won't blow the fuse

Have you swapped headunits ?

I did have a aftermarket unit in I didn't cut any cable I used a old iPod intergration cable after aftermarket stoped working and blew the fuse I put old unit back in and it's blowing fuses

I had the aftermarket unit in for a few months before the fuse blew
