I have a 2012 VE SV6 and I am looking at removing the grille so I can paint the badge.
I undid the 2 screws and the 2 plastic tubs on top of it, then slowly wedged it open so the side clips released.
Finally I started pushing the lugs at the bottom of the grille that are connected to the bumper up to release it and then I saw it, there is a line of what looks like glue connecting the bumper to the grille.
Is it alright to cut through this glue to remove the grille, or is it really important to holding the grille in place and can I just replace it later?
