VF Fuel lid will not release

The screws are at the end that goes through into the fuel cap cavity, have a look at the photo I posted earlier and you'll see the bolt holes.

For memory I used a Phillips head screw driver with a 90 degree bend in it.

As I said, fiddly but not hard.

The screws can only be accessed from inside the cap tho? i can see the screw in the photo but i cant get to it from anywhere in the boot unless im missing something im not too sure starting to think taking it into holden my only option

Sorry it's been a while since I've had to do one.

Try unscrewing the white box containing the solenoid from the black bracket, pull it out taking the pin with it and the door will open.

You can then remove the bracket by removing the screws in the cap cavity then reassemble it and check if it's working.
