By the time the EV’s from not-CCP-land, and which’re being released this year-ish, are as old as said beater … taking inflation into account of course, they’re likely to be a similar value. I reckon this COVID inflation thing is on the way out.

Bloody hope so. Sick of the "Covid Tax" applying to everything we buy. Seems to me the law of supply and demand is re-enforced by it.
