Yeah an early girl is easier to set the rear end up with adjustable top arms for pinion angle & most will take 255/50/15 27x10 slick + taller gearing for 6l80 should hook up ok.

The v6 vp ute is 1309kgs although fairly easy to get 50kgs out of them.

The more I look into the Ls3/6L80 the more I like idea of dropping one into daily driver vp ute & racing it occasionally...reliable low 11's sound feasible.

Practicing getting heat in the tyres seems related to me....

This is totally unrelated..

That car's blowing a lot of smoke.

Take it too the dealership and show them what it's doing as there may be a warranty fix.

I heard it was typical of the LS3 to intermittently pour smoke out of the rear guards...
It seems to happen mostly on Sundays.. weird!

Flo......... i like how you drive your car daily, race it at the drags, and just not afraid to give it a hard time.
Shows how tuff the LS3 + drive line is in these cars...

Cheers Ls3304

They are a good package. I’ve just replaced the diff centre after 80,000kms. It was still hooking up 2 wheels but it was loose when I took it out. The 6L80e is stock internally. I’ve put a Camaro pan and pick up on it and it has a 9.5inch converter and is tuned awesome by Chris at WSM. I’ve brutalised the drive train with 3rd gear burnouts at the strip with slicks on and hard launches and 7000rpm shifts and it’s still solid as with about 540 horses coming thru the flex plate.
