VF Redline, recently I've been reading up about the w310 package, now I was just wondering if I chooes to install this package how will it affect my holdswise 5yr warranty I sent Holden the same message and this was their response: Dear Serhan, We write in reference to your recent e-mail correspondence received at Holden Customer Care regarding the availability of accessories for your SSV Redline and the ramifications of installing non-genuine Holden accessories to your vehicle. Only genuine Holden accessories are available for purchase through Holden. In order to determine what accessories may be available for your vehicle we recommend you contact the Parts department of a Holden dealership. If you provide the Parts department with your Vehicle Identification Number they will be able to view a list of all accessories that are available for order for your vehicle. We are unable to recommend the use of any non-genuine parts or accessories as Holden spend a considerable amount of time and research prior to the release of products to ensure durability and reliability. As stated in the Service/Warranty Booklet, provided with your vehicle's Owner’s Manual, if any vehicle issue has been determined to have been caused by incorrect installation or use of non-genuine accessories then Holden new vehicle warranty will not apply. Should you wish to discuss matters further, please do not hesitate to contact us on 1800 033 349, quoting the above mentioned reference number. Yours sincerely, John Dunkley Holden Customer Care

What are you thoughts, as I really want this package but don't want to void my warrenty just incase, what are my options please help

This is like taking Microsoft 8.1 by a company and doing modifications to the internals and chips and improving performance....is GMH entitled to royalties for this....:surprise:

where can I have thsi work done?

In a nutshell you should consider using available new technology that either GM declined to include or has been improved on and proven by experts in the field over almost a decade. The following comes from considerable practical experience, doesn't just follow basic old school stuff blindly because brochure, badges, no fine print or piratey markup.

OK from scratch super new car experience off showroom floor, no-brainer professionally fitted and guaranteed installation, with $6500 budget:

H/C/I/E
  • RotoFab or Orrsom intake + Card style 4" MAF
  • High Performance AFM valvetrain swap & raise comp to 11.5
  • Long Tube 4-2-1 extractors & metal cats
  • HSV bi-modal silencers on stainless catback w/x-pipe
  • Deep Pan transmission with Wide Mouth pickup

430kW (340rwkw) MAF and SD tuned for 98 and e85, AFM and PE calibrated via road test and dynomometer, fully street legal, no-drone + EPA noise and emissions assured, quieter and more economical than any Wankinsure, more clever, better engineered and more of an engineering conversation piece.

Recommended Touring Pack ($4500):
  • Brembo 14" rear brakes
  • Chevy SS steering wheel Paddles + TapShift 2.0
  • HSV gear ratio fitted to Eaton TrueTrac Torque Sensing (torsen) diff

Optional Track Pack ($2500)
Bilstein B8 Gas shocks
Eibach lowering springs

Who will do this work for my 6 litre AFM VF Calais?

Pre-armed with exact specifications, quoted labour rate and standard hours, then any LS speed shop for lifting the heads (to send out for machining) and setup, engine bolt-ons, trans pan and brakes at same place I would expect. It is really quite competitive in Sydney.
Specialist exhaust shop for capability and professional tools.
Specialist tuner for the ECU and transmission tune.
With a VF I'd go to Holden for the paddles.
Specialist transmission / driveline fitter for diff.

It doesn't hurt to go a step further and supply instructions, component blow-apart diagrams, complete bill of materials and all parts except consumables. Reduces risk through better communication, label everything and box it up with document envelope attached:

I can point you to parts and tuner and transmission specialist if you like, PM me. But general LS mechanical at a speed shop is straightforward.

Hehe... what do I expect?! To drive the **** out of an engine that, with a few bold tweaks, will rank amongst the top 15 most powerful naturally aspirated engines ever produced - 105hp per litre and 120Nm per litre. Also nothing less than the most efficient V8 on the road, with fuel economy challenging current state of the art hybrids.
Yep, I'm excited :yarr:
I am using EFILive Flashscan V2 with Techedge 3A2 WBO2 serial input, wired onboard for narrowband simulation. SD tune.

I have a ssv redline and i drove my mates w310 last night and i honestly did not see that much of a difference if not any but the exhaust noise. I was expecting better. I think i'll be looking at a diffent exhaust, perhaps Di filippo or Manta with a vcm otr

Just a heads up walkinshaw exhaust = a re badged Di flippo exhaust and IIRC their OTR is a re badged VCM. ;)

Think that you're right on the VCM but the exhaust - nah. Di Filippo manufacture the Walkinshaw exhaust but to Walkinshaw's own design - lay the two down next to each other and the differences are noticeable.

I disagree, I have seen the two systems in person and they look identical.

So have I, including looking at the components in detail and I've had a conversation with one of the Di filippo family about it.
