VF uses Tech 2?

As per the title, do the VF commodores still use the Tech 2 computers?

No not for diagnostics you need the GM MDI and the GDS system. I have used the tech 2 as a pass through device to load calibrations onto some VF controllers though.

Just curious as I am looking at upgrading from the VZ for which you can get the $300 tech 2s from China.

That's it. The GDS is downloaded from the AC Delco TIS site but you need to update (pay) for a licence every 30 days.
