VF Ute around Nürburgring

Down our way, a lot of SS, and SSV utes used by the tradies. All a tax break, why not have the best.

Up my way, a lot of tradies buy the XR6 Turbo ute, hard to generalise about cars or tax, bit I do know that neither cars have a one tonne payload to meet ATO requirements.

Ah, I assumed that was the list. Thought it was odd with some of those cars..haha ah well.

Take that list with a (very big) grain of salt. Many of the cars listed there are anything but showroom stock. Plenty of the "official" manufacturer runs have non standard (read semi slick race) tires and suspension tuning. Those sorts of things really detract from the prestige of such a list.

Yep, I am going to buy a new VF ute just so I can brag about it beeing quick around a track 95% of us will never see, let alone drive on.

WHO GIVES A TOSS.

So you don't factor in how well a car drives when buying it? This test gives a direct comparison between the dynamics of one car to a range of others so we can see how well designed it is. Thats the whole point of testing production cars on a race track.

The whole point of an SS ute is extra load carrying ability whilst still driving enough like a car. I'd think this test is extremely relevant for potential buyers

It is nonsensical to suggest buyers don't take into account dynamics when buying a car.
In fact, THE major selling point a VF SS over other utes is it's superior performance and dynamics.

So actually, I'd say your opinion is wrong and so is your reasoning
