VK fuel pump

lol cheers i might just buy a bigger pump, any recomendations that arnt more than a couple hundred, if i got a mecanical one id but it brand new anyway so might as well spend it on a bigger pump... how quick would it burn the valves out cause my feet are kinda heavy lol, an i dont have funds for bout anouther week. an its got no rego so i cant drive it any wayz... so would that be the reason that it died in revs wen iwas doin a skid or is that a small tuning fix???

i was talking worst case scenario. it'd probably never happen like that. but still that 0.01% risk isnt worth it to me. but at least you have been warned

all decent electric pumps will cost you towards 200 bucks. the carter black was 115 but once you added 50 for the regulator and a couple of bucks for all the fittings and filters it added up to about 200. the holley blue (or red, cant remember which one self regulates) is just on 200 and the other one is about the same as the carter, but again you need to get a regulator and fittings.

mechanical pumps are 90 bucks and itll last you 10 years. itll pump exactly the right pressure for you quaddy so you never need to worry about it.

yeah probly just the sender bro, mines farked too.
nah keeping it blocked off should be fine
get a new sender first and fit it. and see if ti fixs it

What’s the sender look like and where about is it located? I think my is stuff too.

In fuel tank at the front close to diff cover & panhard rod.

If yours is calais will have 2 plugs..one for fuel gauge other for low fuel light.

Earth wire out gauge will swing opposite direction or idiot light will come on.

Find thick purple wire..that's power wire iirc for efi vk model should be similar for n/a v8
