Ok, today i tried to install a new gearbox and clutch in my vk with a 6cyl black motor, previously it has a mc6 phillipino box and i want to put in a M76 borgwarner box. Everything went smoothly until i tried to adjust the clutch only to find that i couldn't, it would adjust all the way out and then the yolk would move all the way forward and hit the housing in the opening hole before the clutch would disengage. I pulled the gear box back out and compared the clutch to the old one to find it was identical in every way and then compared the gearbox's together as well and found them to be the same. Where is the difference? I tightened down the clutch evenly and just cant find the problem.
