Sump came up well
Cut the -12 hose down with 120 bend lines align perfectly
Mackay engine mounts tuned up this afternoon

- Cam finished and in post
- Headers: gone up in price, apparently shortages of steel tube 1 5/8" and 1 7/8" due to a bad batch that came in from overseas which is delaying supply
Looks like onto a new set 2nd hand, should have them next week

purchased castle headers last week, 1- 3/4", 1-7/8", 2-1/4" pipes
2nd hand but new, great deal

Driveshaft reconditioned
Didn’t realise it would be as fiddle as this, but never the less all finished
Most probably better to get shaft balanced just to be sure it’s all good

Will look into this on Monday
After that will give it a coat of paint
Another piece to jigsaw completed

Trialed fitted sump, new mounts, to see actually how much clearance on oil pickup
Seems heaps of room
Heads to be dummy fitted next to
trial fit headers when they turn up this week

Don't forget to chop off 2 1/4 outlets to 2 1/2...they gain decent jump in torque with that mod.

yes mate, just want to see whether i have clearance in K-frame / sump before i get too carried away
But yes will be upgrading to 2.5" pipes

camshaft received, ....looks nice, couldn't resist having a peak, put it to the side
want to check headers first in K-frame
headers underway, wednesday arrive
tail shaft dropped into G&J Diffs Dingley: $175 for balance, few days turn around

Looks like headers fit
Had to lift the driver side of the engine up away from the engine mount to get the header around the steering box
But all works out
Nice score brand new
Looked up the part number stamped into bottom of header plate, and was made in 2018

Will need to study up on how to route the pipes under car as not ready to throw motor back in
Another job done

Need to decide whether should upgrade to arp head studs or stay with arp bolts
Just looking at clearance issues on primary header pipes
Might be safer bet to stay with bolts

Now focus on checking valve clearance on piston with new Marshall cam … after weekend
