Picked up a nice silver 2009 Holden VE SV6 for wife a few weeks ago, one owner, 48K on clock, with service books, has 2 faults up, check engine light & stability control, probably paid a little too much for it, but I suppose they dont make them holdens any more and will be nice car for years to come

anyone know what the tailshaft to diff bolt specifications are, seems misplaced mine, mwjhich is not surpricing considering the mess in garage at present

managed to get the flowmaster Xflow muffler up and tacked, waiting for 3" bends to turn up, then position new hangers where needed to support exhaust
Now on hunt for tail muffler,
will have to leave the end tip off until we position the rearbar and lower insert to get the alignment of exhaust correctly positioned

stripping off door panels from drivers front and rear today
window mechanism a little tight from no use
rear door handle broken off, trying to open driver back door
waiting for 3" elbows to turn up
looking for 4" Dia muffler with 3" in/out

big day in garage today
stripped out most of the RH body parts, only broke a few plastic trims as very brittle

couldnt get over how much crap was behind some of the seals, found out where the water leak in boot was coming from the rear quarter vent seals all hard and buildup of dust/grime behind

Then started on taking up the old tar sound barrier up in back, managed to get this all up, and gave it a vacuum and degrease

will seal with KBS chassis paint before applying new insulation/sound barrier,...not sure which brand I'm going with yet

have used this, is well priced, thick and actually works for noise, its a long roll, can cut into same size smaller pieces for fitting but looks better 1 piece install, just mark out and cut to shape, even using a paper template and slowly peel stick backing same time your installing it, not totally off before.
