Will go into all gears easy when engines off, but when its onits near impossible to get any gears except reverse. Put a new clutch cable in the other day and changed the oil. I could have been given the wrong oil from repco. Anyone got any idea what it could be? Its a vn s1 factory five speed

clutch cable not adjusted correctly seeing as you replaced it?
same issue prior to new cable being fitted?
if it isn't an adjustment issue then its definitely the clutch itself imo
