hey me and my buddy are installing an aftermarket remote locking kit from supercheap, and it got me thinking if it was possible to wire the kit to flash when unlocked and locked like OEM remote locking kits. I thought maybe if a relay was connected through the wires from the driver's side actuator to the hazard light switch in parallel then it could work? Any thoughts guys?

most central locking kits have wires you can connect to the indicators or parkers. some units have 2 seperate wires, some have only one. you can hook the one to the indicators by using a couple of diodes.

His kit is pretty basic, it only has two extra wires to toggle the locking system from a switch inside the car. Other than that there aren't any other wires coming from the control unit.
